National Leadership of the People Democratic Party, PDP
Wednesday announced the postponement of Kogi state governorship primary by four
days.
The PDP has reiterated that as a party, it would conduct a
free, fair and transparent primary election.
In a statement by PDP National publicity Secretary, Chief
Olisa Metuh, the primary election earlier slated for Thursday, September 10,
2015, will now hold September 14.
Metuh said, “The postponement is with regard to some
logistic issues pertaining to the exercise.
“The NWC reassures members of the party and other critical
stakeholders, particularly the gubernatorial aspirants, of a transparent,
credible, free and fair primary election.
